In Storyteller-implanted good dreams, people win bingo games or lotteries or lose weight eating cake--these capture neither transcendence nor dreaminess. Sailors trapped in a sunken submarine with their air supply dwindling are suddenly completely distracted when a woodman walks through one of their portals and they completely shift their attention to his recent adventures with The Red Wolves.
